Dr. Ava Nguyen (Chiropractor)

Dr. Ava is the Director/Principle Chiropractor at Aspire Family Chiropractic established since 2015. Ava completed 5 years of University at RMIT Melbourne, where she received her degrees Bachelor of Health Science (Chiropractic) and Masters of Clinical Chiropractic in 2013.

Ava has an excellent understanding of how prolonged pain can affect energy levels, mood and sleep. Wanting to provide a better quality of life for her mother, a chronic back pain sufferer, was her initial reason for studying Chiropractic.

Ava has practiced in various clinic settings from community to private clinics across Victoria, to Hands on Health Intercare (located in the Philippines). Having experienced different clinical settings, Ava has built broad knowledge and expertise in treating chronic spinal conditions and common musculoskeletal aches and pains. Ava’s clinical interest lies in chronic pain, back and neck pain, headaches/migraines, shoulder/elbow/wrist pain and knee/ankle pain. 

Ava is a registered Chiropractor under the Chiropractor Registration Board of Australia and Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA). She is proud member of Australian Chiropractors Association (ACA).

  • An avid baker, she not only enjoys creating chiffon and genoise cakes @trulybakedbyava but also loves expressing her creativity through cake decorating.

  • Growing up, Dr. Ava was always active as a kid, with basketball and netball being her favourite sports. She started hitting the gym at the age of 15 and continues to be dedicated to exercise, driven by a deep understanding of its benefits for her body, health & wellness and overall wellbeing.

  • Her current favourite exercises include reformer pilates, which significantly helped build her core strength. She has also taken up Body Fit Training (BFT), contributing to improvements in both strength and cardiovascular health. Being a chronic asthma sufferer, Dr. Ava has found that both reformer pilates and Body Fit Training (BFT) have significantly contributed to managing her asthma and overall health more effectively.

  • Dr. Ava consistently visits her Chiropractor and Chinese Medicine Practitioner/Acupuncturist to maintain and regulate her body, health and posture. She acknowledges the significance of both natural therapies in maintaining her overall health and wellness.
