Meet Your Chiropractor
Dr. Ava Nguyen (Chiropractor)
Dr. Ava is the Director and Principal Chiropractor at Aspire Family Chiropractic. She graduated from RMIT University in Melbourne in 2013 with a Bachelor of Health Science (Chiropractic) and a Master of Clinical Chiropractic, began practising in 2014, and went on to establish Aspire in 2015.
Ava’s journey into chiropractic began with a deep desire to help her mother, who struggled with chronic back pain due to spinal conditions that significantly affected her daily life. What started as a calling to support her family has grown into a practice rooted in connection, purpose, and a deep respect for each person’s unique story and capacity for wellbeing.
She understands how persistent pain can influence not only the body, but also how people feel in themselves and in their everyday lives. Patients are drawn to Ava not only for her clinical experience, but also for the warmth, safety, and genuine care they feel in her presence.
Her professional experience spans community-based care across Victoria and international outreach through Hands on Health Intercare in the Philippines. These diverse settings have shaped Ava into a thoughtful and skilled practitioner with a strong foundation in managing spinal conditions, chronic pain, headaches and migraines, and joint-related injuries.
Ava is a registered Chiropractor with AHPRA and the Chiropractic Board of Australia and is a proud member of the Australian Chiropractors Association (ACA).
Her vision is to walk alongside individuals and families with heart-led care—supporting alignment, ease, and a sense of wellbeing that extends into daily life and community.

Life Beyond Chiropractic
Ava’s life is enriched by creativity, movement, family and reflection. These personal joys and practices mirror the same values of connection, presence, and care that she brings to her patients.
• Guided by purpose, Ava balances her professional calling with the roles of motherhood and personal growth. She is a devoted mum of two and is currently embracing a new chapter of resilience and renewal.
• Through her blog @wellness.by.ava and website www.wellnessbyava.com, she shares from the heart—blending reflections on health, lifestyle, and everyday insights.
• Ava’s creativity shines through her baking project @trulybakedbyava, where she makes chiffon and genoise cakes with love, often finding presence and peace in the process of decorating.
• She also finds joy in art and drawing, especially portraiture and creative projects. Returning to her artwork has become a meaningful way to express herself and reconnect with creativity.
• She feels most connected to herself through movement—especially Body Fit Training and reformer Pilates. These practices support her strength, breath, and overall wellbeing, while helping her manage chronic asthma.
• Ava values natural approaches to care and receives regular chiropractic and Chinese medicine treatments to support her own health, alignment and sense of wellbeing.
• Deeply empathetic and heart-led, Ava cares for her patients with kindness and integrity. She believes meaningful care begins with connection and continues through intentional living.
